The Face In The Crowd
I think that this chapter is realy unrealistic !
First they have some problems with their car and then they pass over a cow !!!
"and the windscreen was splashed with blood"
It sounds like a bad horrorstory for me ...
But maybe you don't think so, don't you ?
And then, they have difficults with that car again !
Ánd after a long time, help's coming and they have to pay $200 for it ...
However I think the end is great !
Alex sees his father at the concerst and he's so nervous, that he plays a wrong note
I think, that I would be very confused too !
Would you be confused in this situation too an if yes, why ?

Of course you're right with your opinion. To me it's not really realistic, too. In my opinion this scene is not appropriate or sensitive at all.
--- I would be shocked too (but in a positive way) but instead of play on I would run down to my missed father.

I don`t think that this part is like a horrorstory...but I think it`s a little bit unrealistic.
if I saw my real dad I would be shocked too but then I would be happy to see my real dad!!!...i would play further but after that I would run to my dad....I think
