TOM Picked Up His Diary And Began Writing

Dear diary,
I think, it was a great idea from me, to went this desert island with Alex !
We learned more about each other and I hope, that Alex can forgive, that I left him alone, when he was a little child ...

I want to be a better father for him! I want to help him - whenever he have a problem, I'm there !

Chapter seven

Maybe Alex thinks that, because he realizes, why Tom left him and his mother !
Tom explains it to him really emotional, I think.

In my opinion, the sentence "And, of course, Alex understood only too well." refers to the whole situation, that Tom is discribing !

I'm shocked, wehn I read, that Tom wants to make excuses !! He says, that he's so sorry about it, and when Alex asks him, why he never wrote a postcard to him, Tom just says, that he was afraid, that Alex will hate him ...
This answer sounds to me really ridiculos !
Tom wonders, if ALex 'wants' to be in contact with his father- of corse he would !

However, Alex forgives him. As far as I concerned, it's the right desision ... Because, he's his father, and nothing can change it .

I think, my supposition' right- Alex eyes fill with tears, when Tom apologizes to Alex about, what he have done.

My Spectulation About The Dialogue Between Alex And Tom

I think Alex will ask his father, why he left him and his mother alone when he was 2 years old.
Maybe tears will fill his eyes, because of the mixed feeling inside of him !
I can imagen, that the two will be very nervous to speek with each other after such a long time .
I hope, that Alex will forgive his father ♥

Chapter five
The Face In The Crowd

I think that this chapter is realy unrealistic !
First they have some problems with their car and then they pass over a cow !!!

"and the windscreen was splashed with blood"
It sounds like a bad horrorstory for me ...
But maybe you don't think so, don't you ?

And then, they have difficults with that car again !
Ánd after a long time, help's coming and they have to pay $200 for it ...

However I think the end is great !
Alex sees his father at the concerst and he's so nervous, that he plays a wrong note
I think, that I would be very confused too !
Would you be confused in this situation too an if yes, why ?

Chapter Four

The Big Decision

After Alex come back from his trip with Kevin, he's a little bit nervous to meet his father, but then, Mary tells him, that Tom is in a nother country again, because of his work. ´

The way I see it is, that Tom is an igoistic person ! I really don't like this character !

After this disappointment, Alex decides to go on tour with Dani's band.

At this time, she falls in love with him. They're on a deserted beach and she kisses him !

That's romantic, I think !

Dani shows him some penguins, wich build little nests in teh sand-dunes. She thinks, that it's sweet, that there are some few, wich are feeding they babies. But Alex doesn't agree with her. He wonders, if the little penguins feel afraid.

So they start a little argument. But they reconcile after a while and start kissing again ...

In my opinion it seems a little bit unrelistic, that they talk about such a strangely topic.

Chapter three
The Island And The Mountain


Alex visits his cousin Kevin in Adelaide and Kevin shows him 'Kangaroo Island' !

That's a nice idea, because I think, that everybody should see OZ' special animals, if you be !

They also make a trip to 'St. Mary's Peak', where Kevin tells him something about Tom. Then Kevin suddenly remembers, that Tom had declaimed Alex, eight years ago !
In this moment, Alex is very shocked !

HIS FATHER HAD DECLAIMED HIM !

I would be very disappointed in this situation like Alex too...

At this night Alex says to himself : "Let him see, how he likes it"
Maybe he means, that Tom will be disappointed too, when he come back from London and Alex won't be there.
Of course I would think so too in that situation !

Chapter two
Hello Australia


I think it is very disappointing for Alex, that ihs father isn't at the airport to wait for him.
But at the middle of this chapter everythink turns into the right: Alex meet a sweet nice girl calls Dani. She lives next door, so Alex can see her often.
It is a nice idea, that Dani invite Alex to play in her band !

Maybe she will fall in love with Alex ...
That will make the story more interesting !
